This is a great motherboard. The build quality is much better than most mobos I've worked with and that's not surprising given that it's in their Ultra Durable series.
I'm using it in a new i5-2500k build that's intended for overclocking. I set it up in no time at all and I'm taking advantage of almost all of the features it has to offer: Intel SRT, USB 3.0 and Lucidlogix Virtu. I've got 16GB RAM in there, 2 optical drives, 2 RAID-1 HDs fronted by an SSD, and an additional hard drive and SATA hotswap dock. Sounds crazy but I which I had a couple more SATA (3 or 6) ports.
There were some nice surprises as well. Gigabyte's got this great feature called ON/OFF charge that let's you charge devices through one USB port even if the system is in hibernate (S4) or off (S5). It also provides more power to the port and Gigabyte says that it'll cut charging time by up to 40%. Doesn't seem like a big deal but I'd often leave my computer on just to charge a device which is really lazy and a waste of power. Now I don't do that anymore.
Another nice little feature is Gigabyte's Dynamic Energy Saver (DES) which really does work. I'll let anyone interested read about it on Gigabyte's site rather than repeat everything.
A few things I didn't like are the edge mounted sata ports which (in combination with my case - Antec Sonata III) makes it really, really tough to get cables in there. I also which they had included a USB 3.0 header cable like some other manufactures since they're really hard to find.
Overall though it's a purchase I'm very happy with and don't regret.
